Abstract qualities and powerful colours are undoubtedly my inspiration and I enjoy exploring these elements in many different ways. Composition is important to me and needs careful thought – I like cropping images, often zooming in on my subject stimulates further abstraction which I love. Besides being Vice President of the Birmingham Art Circle, I am a member of the RBSA and a committee member of the Birmingham & Midland Pastel Society. I exhibit regularly at the RBSA and The Art Barn, Preston Bagot.
