Toward, Scotland

Last summer we spent a wonderful fortnight in Toward, near Dunoon in Scotland.  Our holiday home was the lighthouse cottage, the most perfect place with breathtaking views of changing skies and big expanses of water.  You could watch the world go by without being involved as a curious mix of ferries, fishing boats and the occasional submarine passed by!   And during the evenings seals gathered on the beach as the lighthouse beam circled above us . . . absolutely no shortage of subjects to inspire.
